I used to play this game all the time. Then, I tried modding it. The game crashed half way through loading. Now, I deleted the mod installing program and the game. I reinstalled the game, but when I click the icon I see the disk symbol saying it is about to start, but it never does!
Go to Username/My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files/ and delete gta_sa.set. Worked for me once before.
