in a separate thread i suggested that i would make a time capsule with the names of all the people in the thread to dig up in 10 years time. since that's taking too long to get the 200 posts, i thought it'd be easier to make a new thread so everyone has a chance to get in. i've simplified all questions you might have below:

i am putting your names into a secure box into a dirt hole, several metres deep (or as far as i can dig before my fragile arms get tired). this hole will be hidden in a secret location known only to me and whoever else i tell in the case that i cannot dig up the box in 10 years time. in the case that someone finds the box that wasn't supposed to, i'll leave a card explaining the purpose of the box and a link to this thread.
