I hate this dumb scheme. The worst part is not the paid mods but the funney money.
I could easily imagine Bethesda jacking up their prices by throwing in a "points bundle" for false valuation.
Even worst during sales since they could do the same thing as GTAV by adding in a virtual "currency" before discounting, effectively maintaining the price point before the sale.
It could go especially bad if they decide to expand the Creation Club to cover expansions while eliminating payment options besides virtual currency points and GotY versions.
Virtual currency points is a consumerist's nightmare. There needs to be a real money standard for micro-transactions complete with option of refunding.
