RAM or Motherboard issue? Also Win 10 100% Disk Usage Issue

Lately, to get my computer to run/boot up, I've had to reseat my RAM.
Sometimes, in task manager, it will only show up as me having 4gb of RAM as opposed to the 8 gb that it should be showing.
I've also been having the Windows 10 100% Disk Usage problem, I've disabled Superfetch, Windows Search and Give Me Tips About Windows, still 100% on bootup.

Do the ol' "put a stick of RAM into each slot one by one" trick to isolate the problem, try different RAM sticks or put the sticks into a different mobo, troubleshooting stuff to identify the culprit
I once had a motherboard where the first two slots just didn't work.

Tried putting both RAM sticks into different slots and it doesn't have an effect; when I swap it around it'll boot up once but if you shut down then try again it won't work.
Will try single RAM into each slot though, also I unfortunately don't have any other RAM sticks or a different Mobo.
Out of sheer curiosity, stop the Windows Update Service.
"net stop wuauserv" or jump into services and do it there, seen tons of machines recently where Windows Update just goes ham on the machines resources & sometimes you just have to wait it out on a fiber network connection to sort it out.
Open up Process Explorer LINK and have a look.

Thanks, I love disabling windows bullshit I literally nuked the cortana folder just to get rid of it.
In any case I think you will have to replace your ram most likely its malfunctioning.
Issues like the disk usage should not be happening if you did a clean windows 10 installation if you did a upgrade installation there's your problem.
If you have a beeper or motherboard LEDs, see what error code they give. If not, buy a beeper from a computer supply place. It's best to identify the actual problem before taking a gamble by replacing a part that might not be faulty
