Well to be fair, beethovens music was not aimed towards people of the 21'st century :v:

classical compositions, especially as good as beethoven's, are timeless

final fantasy's music is the selling point of it for me, but number 3 is a bit too high imo
I didn't really like Skyrim's OST, none of the tracks were as memorable as the previous ones
Times change, so does tastes in music.
In 100 years time people will still remember and listen to Beethoven, though.
The only memorable song in Skyrim is the one from the trailer that sometimes plays when you fight dragons

This one sticks in my mind pretty strongly.

This is my personal favorite.
This is probably my favourite song from Skyrim.

Skyrim's soundtrack isn't the greatest, but it's still pretty damn awesome.
This is pretty much the only one I really like, Oblivion had a much better ost overall, and I love GW1's ost, which is by the same composer.

It makes me want to explore.
These are all really emotional, almost depressing songs. They fit well with the atmosphere of Skyrim's landscape too. Damn Jeremy.
You gangsta.

Skyrim's music was pretty and relaxing but forgettable.
Good music but it can't be moonlight sonata or anything like that
eh compare the amount of people who played skyrim and loved the music to the people who listened to beethoven (me being one of them, it never gets old (though tbf skyrim's music is good enough that even after 100 odd hours of playtime I'm still not sick of it))in 2011/12, it's not really surprising

morrowind's was better though
Feeling like the only person who just turns off music in games when I can

Hnngggg
Skyrim is pretty cool without music though. I do it sometimes just for the effect of it, not because the music is bad or anything.
oh shit its my jam

I actually do like to turn off music in video games as well sometimes once I hear the majority of the soundtrack, In Fallout i always play with the music off

Skyrim music really, really impressed me.

Which? 7?
I thought the variation of music alone in the latest final fantasy (xxiii 2) was impressive. It includes (from what I can at least label) latin inspired jazz (my fav), rock, trance, rap (although it feels very.. family friendly. I don't know how to describe it), breakbeat, loads of other experimental electronic and of course the typical orchestrated ff music.

I never liked the radio soundtrack in Fallout 3, so I would never listen to it.
But in other games I love to listen to the music.
For me, Skyrim's soundtrack wasn't nearly as memorable as Oblivion's. Auriel's Ascension, Harvest Dawn, Peace of Akatosh and March of the Marauders are my favourites.
