Anyone just get their Windows 8.1 temporarily refreshed?

My desktop froze and I restarted. After a 'preparing windows' loading screen everything was refreshed, no programs and the color theme was changed to default purple like it was a clean installation of Windows.

I turned on my Surface Pro and it would just be a black screen.

I restarted both a couple times and everything's back to normal now.

Was it like a corrupt Windows 8.1 update or something?

happened something similar to my windows but it was 7 not 8.1 i remember it happened one day after purchased my new computer i think it's just some kind of windows configuration thing

Yesterday windows exchanged all windows on my 2 screens. I wonder if this is related?
