• Anything wrong with this build?

Going to hopefully order tonight, I am wondering if there is anything wrong and/or you would suggest different with this build. I plan on using it to both game and video edit, and I already have a Graphics card, power supply, Case, and hard drive that will work. There's cheaper RAM out there that doesn't have dumb huge heatsinks. Would you mind posting the model numbers of all the parts you'll be reusing?
Yeah sure The case is a Cooler Master Haf 912 The PSU is a Corsair GS600 The GPU is a GTX 670, not sure exactly which brand as I am buying it off someone. HDD is some 1TB Seagate I will only be using for pictures/music. What ram would you recommend?
Looks good except I agree with getting cheaper ram.
I'm getting Corsair XMS3. [editline]26th February 2013[/editline] but yeah everything looks nice
All good then?
Go with this one instead. That's the same one I'm ordering already haha, I guess I will order this after I stop by the bank tomorrow.
There's two different versions of the XMS3, make sure you get the one with 9-9-9-24 timings.
But it does have 9-9-9-24 timings?
Well good then. My bad.
If you have a microcenter nearby you can get that CPU and motherboard for about $60~ less. We have extremely similar setups, it looks good though. Just don't expect to be able to put a large CPU cooler on it without hitting your RAM
The i5 is a good choice, however I went with this motherboard instead. I also have a GTX680pe, which helps alot. :v:
Ordered it up, I got one day shipping and rush processing so I should have a picture or two on Friday.
