So I have stockpiled lots of old Humble Bundle orders and I want to give Steam keys away.
There is a little catch to it however, I will upload keys as .txt files and to download them you have to complete a quick survey.
Whoever gets the key first wins.
I'll start off with these and upload a lot more later when they are all taken:

I know you mean well, but downloading a .txt file from a random link on the internet at the guise of a steam key is very suspicious

.txt file can't infect you in any way

They absolutely can.
Do you really think that i'll do a survey for you?
They absolutely can.
Only if they have double extension

Well, if you want the game then why not
Only if they have double extension
Not necessarily.
Not necessarily.
Care to explain or link?
They absolutely can.
The best part of being somewhat literate about computers is that you know better than to click on sexyladyvideo.exe

I can't grab an example or anything because I'm at work, but file extensions can be spoofed.

Actually here.
-snip- bad example, disregard
A few years ago there were people who tried this same bit, only it was for "free" Xbox Live and PSN codes. If the planets aligned correctly and enough goats were sacrificed so that one could actually get a "survey" to credit, the "code" turned out to be either a dud or more often an .exe that either was malware that claimed to be a code generator or took you to more "fabulous" surveys. All this while the person who posted the link made a couple of cents for every person who actually tried.
Hence why people are weary.

File extensions can be spoofed but there are only few extensions that can be spoofed.
There is no way anyone can spoof a .txt

1. It's txt
2. I'll wait for someone to redeem one of keys and leave a feedback here, my codes are legit.
It's a lovely though of course but the suspicion isn't exactly unfounded due to how you've made a thread about it, linked keys etc.
The best way to hand keys out to the general FP is to just dump the X-X-X-X keys into LMAO pics and say have fun

Oh whoops, didn't look at it close enough.
Lol.
Don't do this, he gets paid for each survey you complete.
He probably paid like the minimum possible for those keys.
Right, might as well make a guide on how you post Humble Bundle keys.
1. Buy a game.
2. Go to this fucking incredible site.
3. Make a text post with the key, making sure to replace some characters such as As with @s or whatever to make sure bots don't nab it. Or make it an image I don't care that works too.
4. Wait for results.
If you followed the guide well, the post should look like this:

There you go now you know how to share Steam codes without looking like you're trying to install keyloggers and/or make survey cash from gullible Facepunchers.

You can exploit vulnerabilities in software, with any extension, if there are any.
