better have decent offline mode. I have lots of games on my laptop for road trips, then steam decides offline mode won't work for me like ever, thus limiting all access to my games

Normally I need to wait a good 20 seconds or so before I can do anything after starting up Steam, now it works fine from the second I start it. Fucking ace.

All it's done for me is made it take 3x as long to open and start steam, and now I'm going offline constantly.
