How good/bad is the aforementioned phone? (No, I can't get a better one.)
Never used one, but it looks pretty good in terms of specs.
I am not a big fan of the Blackberry. I think the UI is less fluid and intuitive compared to other mobile OS's like Android, iOS, WinMo7, etc. But they're decent phones.
Yeah, I love Androids too, can't get one though.
I'd avoid BlackBerries unless the ONLY alternative is a dumbphone. They're more oriented for business and not great for consumer usage.

This. If you like texting and sending emails a lot, they might be just the thing for you, but otherwise, if need it to do multimedia or apps, its not so great.

Also, yeah I don't really care too much for all the fancy app stuff. So long as it can play music to pass the time, text, and call, then it's fine. The rest is just extra for if I get bored or curious :P

Yeah that's an iPhone you're talking about there... I hate Apple, it's run like some corrupt dictatorship with old Jobs at the top, eliminating any threat to him by making it unable to function on Apple's stuff. Anyway yeah, no this isn't an Apple hate thread, so I apologise for the off-topic.
And a phone can't really make you look like anything in particular. Anyone who judges someone based on their phone isn't really someone whose opinion I care about :P
