Yellow Light to me is just so...distant and desolate, beautiful, but as that last lyric fades out and the instrumental kicks in for the remainder of the song...fuck. Makes me want to cry every time the song comes on.
Misfits is both an amazing end to one of my favorite albums of the year, and a fairly powerful song.

"She knows" will always put me on the brink of tears. Something about the recognition of inevitable death. Can't say there's a song out there that can get me without having any real-world negative connection like this one can.
This song sounds really beautiful to me and gives me chills every time I hear it, and overall has a melancholy feel to it even though I'm not really sure if it was intended to.

nas is reciting a letter to his friend in prison keeping him updated with whats happening on the outside. a really sad song that nicely addresses a lot of the struggles of growing up in NY as an african american in a subtle and genuine way.
