I am currently in grade eleven and im really slow at writing tests for some reason. I study really hard for most of my tests and somehow im getting very bad? How is it that some of these people can just listen in class, not study at all and end up with a ninety percent? How can i get faster at writing tests?
Help Facepunch!
Be smarter.
In all seriousness though, some people just catch on to things faster than others. Some people can study and score bad, and some don't study and get A's.
And some have teachers for mothers and are bombarded with as much physics that can be squeezed into the day.
yeah but seriously though, its so frustrating
Save the hard questions for last?
Genetics.
You can't.
I'm the same way dude, there's no end. Whether I study my ass off or not, I'm still slow/ unsuccessful.
Pay real close attention in class so you know the material in your head.
That's all the advice I can give, others do well because they're like that (Like me. :buddy:).
I rarely pay attention in class and almost never do my homework, and i get all 90s or higher on tests. I barely get any sleep either. 1-3 hours on school days.
I just apply logic to the questions. It works for almost everything except history.
Stimulants.
Take notes yo.
Just skip a question and go back to it later if you find it hard.
Sounds like it could be disgraphia (a writing disorder that can interfere with your ability to do written work). I have and it fucked me up for a while, but the moment I had it officially diagnosed and I was allowed to use computers my grade shot up.
Unfortunately, without written proof, it's hard to convince a teacher to allow you to use a computer. Probably because of skepticism and/or fear of cheating. Look into it and see if the symptoms apply to you.
Best of luck meanwhile.
