On facepunch and many other forums I've seen many people do this and I always wonder why, here's an example.
THREAD A: Muslim boy can't take ceremonial dagger to school
Froum: Wow dicks, learn to respect his religion sue sue sue sue!
THREAD B: *Some bullshit about christians*
Forum: Hahhahahha christian should be killed dumbasses slowing our technology kill them all
why
I believe you are experiencing a form of ignorance known as "bias".
But this exact example is SO common everywhere, it dumbfounds me
My response would be
THREAD A: Muslim boy can't take ceremonial dagger to school
me: Hahhahahha muslim should be killed dumbasses slowing our technology kill them all
THREAD B: *Some bullshit about christians*
me: Hahhahahha christian should be killed dumbasses slowing our technology kill them all

I'm agnostic but I do think that Christians get far more criticism for their faith than pretty much every other religion at this point in time.
People worry about offending Muslims etc when criticising their religion
Reverse the two situations and you'll get it.
Most of those people just seem eager to reply

Eh, I'm not sure how it is in the UK, but in the states it seems to be the complete opposite.
That's usually always the case, random people bashing religion no matter what the case was. All the while a few thought out replies just kind of get washed away in the hatred and they end up going back and forth in the thread avoiding all the biased people's posts.
And this is why I'm an atheist.
I think it's more like this:
Topic - "Muslim girl can't wear religious veil at school"
Shit poster - "She shouldn't be wearing one anyway"
Like something stupid that's opposite of everybody else's (the correct) opinion
i just ignore it, morons will be morons and you cant change it over the internet.
Because Religion.

why[/QUOTE] On most forums I actually see the opposite happen. But it might have to do with the fact that facepuncher has different opinions or that its funner to mess with the majority.
