I've just recently purchased an Intel 330 series 240gb SSD and need help setting it up on my computer with my other 2 hard drives. I don't know about raid or setting up the partitions.
What are you trying to accomplish? OS on the SSD? User files and program files on one of the HDDs? Both of the HDD's with RAID?
Details man!
I was hoping to put the OS,boot, a few games and certain apps(anti-virus,photoshop etc) on the SSD and documents and steam library on one hdd and the other hdd to hold movies and music. And I don't know what RAID does.

RAID is simply stated linking 2 or more disk drives, for example RAID0 makes data reading and writing a lot faster, but when one drive fails you lose all your data, RAID1 makes data faster to read, but you only get a total storage capacity of the smallest drive (So 2x2TB = 2TB), there are a lot of other RAID options but those are less common for the avarage user, if you want to know more I'd suggest looking at this Wikipedia Page.
If you want to use your drives independently you won't have to use RAID.

This is the tutorial I use every time I format my computer. You'll want to setup your HDDs with RAID at step 4.
Thanks MTMod and Kia for sharing this info with me. Much appreciated.
You don't really need to bother setting up a RAID array as a regular home user. Use your SSD as system drive, one HDD for documents, other for movies/music/backups or w/e.
