I have the 'Upgrade' version, it came with a 32 bit disk and 64 bit. I installed it once before on the same computer but when I formatted and installed the 64bit today, the key it came with won't work. I tried Microsoft's help site but it was useless.
You should a bought the CD Version instead. Had NO problems installing. Try CALLING Microsoft.

Does it come up with any sort of error code you can use to diagnose why, or is it just a plain "invalid key"?
I already fixed it, you need to upgrade for the key to work, you cannot do a clean install :3:

thats becauce he did a REINSTALL trying to use the same activaited key, yes? and windows 7 checks the key, if you have used the key once it means you can't use it again as far as I see, think of it lke registering games to steam, execpt its your pc, not your steam account. the ONLY way around this is a call to microsoft, for which you WILL need proof of purchase, as far as I know....
