Recently my brother brought home a HP Pavilion p6110f and it was using a intel chipset, Well he didn't like this so he got a compatible video card, However neither of us are knowledgeable at installing anything besides ram. Are there any guides that could help us?

You should have a slot like the blue one on your motherboard. Firstly remove the corresponding shield/bracket in you case for that slot. Push card firmly into the slot so the metal bracket lines up with the one on the case, it should click when it's in. Screw the card in place using the screw hole on the bracket. That's pretty much it unless your card needs an extra power adaptor
