Hey, going to sell my macbook and get a new PC, and I need to prepare it for sale. How do I delete everything on the HDD except the OS?
Format and re-install the OS.

just make sure you have the os install disk handy

Depending on country, you can legally redownload a CD if you've lost or broken it. Then just re-use your serial, and bam it all goes well. :smile:

Only with versions prior to 08. OSX doesn't need one.
