So groups are gonna be like forums now with threads. Nice.
Comeon greenlight where are you
Wow, this is actually really good. Especially for groups that revolve around a specific server or server group, arranging stuff and sharing files for the games will be incredibly easy now
My download speeds don't even max out for me, actually go about 50% on average. The UI is also kind of laggy too. I can live with it though and this community update sounds sweet so far.
Now is there a way to stop getting random group invites from people you don't even know?
You've played on some random public server for 5 minutes! Clan, group, and friend invites!
I literally haven't played a game in, 4 days now ? I get at least 1 invite a day. It's fucking frustrating. I report every damn user that does it, as well as the group. I've been receiving them at this rate for at least 6 months now. If community was at least FASTER at letting me interface with it I could get rid of them faster.
Maybe this will finally fix some of the bugs that have been in there since launch, like sometimes when you edit group website links they just don't change

The one thing that'll make this update for me are 100% JPG or PNG avatars Other things less related to steamcommunity I really want are something that lets you rename friend group tags and game group tags, and maybe a drag and drop interface for those.
I like this new layouts a lot. Then again, I almost never check steam groups or workshop content, but it looks so appealing to the eye and functional now..
My download speed caps at 100 mb/s. Yeah, I doubt I'll hit that any time soon. I average about 10 mb/s though on Steam. Downloading Sleeping Dogs was a breeze.
Make it so I can only get group invites by friend, getting invited to a bunch of "Ragequit" groups when leaving a Left 4 Dead 2 game is obnoxious.
I hate getting group invites to groups I have never heard of and I don't even know anyone in the group.
good job valve
Joining big general groups usually gets you spammed with invites, you should check what groups you have in common with the people that invite you and leave those groups.
That's the problem. I usually don't HAVE any friends or groups in common.
That's kinda cool but are you gonna fix the god awful overlay browser anytime soon? Checking facebook while I have to wait real quick for something often tends to completely make the overlay flip its shit and crash. And that's not mentioning the fact that the address bar at times flat out refuses to work.
