Turned off computer last night, got on today and it performed a system restore.

Just as the title says. I got off last night after playing some games on steam and got back on to find that the entire system had been restored. All my pictures are gone, my videos, my music. Everything. The messed up thing, however, is it shows the exact amount of hard drive space from yesterday (89 GB Free) but a ton of stuff's missing.

I haven't installed any updates recently, so this is kinda irritating to me. Does anyone know what on earth happened?

Restarted, somehow got files back. I'm gonna run a malware scan and try to see what's up. This is confusing.

Are you sure it was a restore? It may have had a problem on login and forced you to a temporary profile.

Bingo. Shit, that had me stressing like hell. And here I was trying to figure out what all was missing, gah.
