I'm not sure if this is the right place but I'm looking to see if it is possible to unlock a Blackberry storm. See I live in the UK and I am with Vodafone, in my house the Vodafone signal drops significantly they gave me one of their signal boosters but requested it back for unknown reasons.
Anyway point is I want to switch from Vodafone to something like O2 or any other of the good UK phone companies, and I'm wondering how I would go about that myself.
Call Vodafone and request an unlock code. If you can't get it from them you'll probably have to cough up around $20 online and get someone to generate the code for you.

How do the 3rd party people get the codes though? If it was a generator wouldn't it be on the net somewhere?
