• Dualbooting Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.5 on a hackintosh?

I want to make a hackintosh but i can't find a guide to do it with both Windows Vista and 10.5 on an AMD system. Is this possible? Also unrelated, but once i install 10.5, where can i get drivers? Here's my system in a nutshell: AMD Athlon X2 6000+ GeForce 8800GT SoundBlaster Live! 24bit I saw a guide that explained making a hackintosh with vista and mac os perfectly but i can't find it anywhere.
actually mac software helps you do this. you simply: 1) turn on your computer 2) while os x is running put in your windows cd 3) a program called bootcamp should pop up 4) it should allow yout to partition your hardrive 5) go through the setup and restart 6) upon restart it should give you a option to install vista on your partitioned hard drive (you will need a disk) 7) install vista when windows is installed you can hold the option key to choose what system boots up for drivers put in your os x install disk while vista is running, it will download drivers and an updater for new drivers i hope this helps, my spelling is shit and im at work so i rushed this if you want them running at the same time you have to download a program but bootcamp should come with your mac
<useless information>
Only works on genuine Mac computers, not hackintoshes. For support, go here: http://www.insanelymac.com - the primary support forum for hackintoshes That AMD processor's gonna fuck things up a bit as you need to use a patched kernel (can't post any links as AMD-patched kernels are usually found on warez copies and the kernels were probably illegally decompiled to add AMD support). And it's a pain in the ass to find working drivers, don't be surprised if you can't get network access or sound from the stock drivers included with OS X. As for finding drivers, if it isn't on InsanelyMac then it probably don't exist. Hibernation/sleep will be fucked in Vista unless you reinstall the Vista MBR and add OS X to the BCD using EasyBCD. Vista requires an intact MBR/BCD for hibernation. TL;DR: If you're not 1337 when it comes to computers and OSes, don't bother trying to put OS X on your machine. There's a high chance of fucking things up. I busted my ass trying to get OS X on my shit Acer laptop, it works but it's unstable as fuck.
