I'm looking to put a new GPU in my little brothers computer for christmas. It only has a pci slot and a 250w-300w PSU. I need the best one i can get. He just plays source games on 1024x768. Its an old dell dimension 3000. Specs P4 @ 2.4ghz 512 mb Ram Geforce 6200[Piece of shit] Xp pro 32-bit. Price doesn't really matter.
However, it is listed here on Newegg has a 128-bit memory interface when it is a 64-bit interface

The specs say its Memory Interface = 128-bit but its only 64-bit.
apparently not
Could you not get an AGP card instead? They're cheaper, and they will probably fit in his case.

That's unusual. I haven't seen a computer with no AGP or PCIE since like 1998. And that was loaded with ISA slots.
What do you expect? IT'S FUCKING DELL!
k thx bro my dell has 2x PCIe with full crossfireX support. 3 pci 1 pcie x1 1 pcie x4 and a fully overclockable bios.
Might want to gain a gb or 2 in ram as well, does it use ddr1 or ddr2 then? Ram really helps more, since a 6200 can play valve games like half life 2 on high with 20-30fps. At least back then for me >.> <.<
