For those of American heritage, you know of the ACT. A bastard test of four hours, dealing with English, Math, Reading, and Science. And I have begin to wonder something. I probaly have a G.P.A of about 2.5, me being a lazy fuck, but have somewhat of a gift in the intellegence department and was wondering if there was any score that I could get to obscure my shitty G.P.A. As of now, I have a composite of 30, but would like to raise it. Also, I am looking at scholarships, yet, they seem to be a combo of Good G.P.A and ACT. I would just like some insight. Thanks.
SAT=All the way to go
I would really like an opinion.
All I've seen was either ACT or SAT, but never both.
I ended up taking both for the heck of it and scored high enough in both that it didn't matter.
I recommend taking both if you have the option, but if now it depends on what you feel you are good at.
The SAT sections are, in no particular order and if I remember correctly: math, english, math, english, writing.
The ACT sections are, again if I remember right; english, math, reading, science, writing.
If you are comfortable with your math and english skills go SAT, the ACT hits each section easier but there are more of them and a shorter time to do it in.
Personally I preferred the ACT, but in the end it depends on what categories you feel you are sufficient in.
What the fuck? You get four hours for five sections? I did four subjects and my total hours was around 15 hours D:
