oooh the game just screams the Just Cause engine, this is a fantastic thing
the "more shirtless fellows to show off his shotgun" comment got me thinking it's getting really old having melee enemies who don't give a shit about their lives. you're in a huge open desert, and there's a dude standing there with a shotgun. it's ridiculous to try to charge him, obviously. i wish enemies had actual self preservation ai sometimes

Really, it'd be rad.

Like psychos in Borderlands. Is is psychopatic to wish my enemies would run away looking for cover or their mates, screaming like maniacs because of getting shot/smacked with a baseball bat mercy pleading would be pretty neat, too
Why don't they ever link to the fullsize images? I want a new wallpaper.

ammo is supposed to be scarce that not many people have, at least going by the movies. id imagine not many shirtless crazies would expect to run into somebody with an actual working gun, let alone with ammo
Man they really made that desert look gorgeous.
man im getting pretty hype for this game i mean it could just be a shit movie adaptation game, but they have such a good game framework to use and develop with, i'm just failing to see how they could fuck this up
It'd be cool if they had a STALKER-style wounding system where you could down an enemy and execute him as he pleads for help, or leave him to bleed out, or maybe even help him.

Imagine RIGHT when you have to reload they just rush you.
Max doesn't look very much like Mel Gibson.
Because Tom Hardy is now Max.
I'm guessing the game universe is set only after the first movie so the set-up occurs and they can take the story where ever they want? Looks cool.
Max doesn't look very much like Mel Gibson.

Because Tom Hardy is now Max.
It's not supposed to be either Gibson or Hardy. The devs have said that the game has nothing to do with either the old or new movies.
The devs have said that the game has nothing to do with either the old or new movies.
I have to say this kind of irks me. They could quite easily fit this into the film canon and instead opt for an independent game? Well, as long as we get a good, quality adaptation I can't really complain. It'd be nice if this came with mod support, I'd love to see what the community could come up with.

Well Just Cause 2 had mods. And seeing as this may be on the same engine( I mean why not?) we may actually see some mods.

-snip whatever- .
