• Laptop turns off on game loading screens

The title, on loading screens for a handful of unrelated games my laptop will just randomly turn itself off for no clear reason with no lasting damage. I'm pretty sure it's not an overheating issue as I regularaly clear my fan and vents and it isn't noticeably hotter than it would usually be. I can't think of any reason why this would happen so please can anyone help?
Laptop specs? Does this problem occur while doing something else? If no, it could be graphics card related issue. Try updating/re-installing drivers.

Try checking temperatures with HWmonitor. Also try doing a memtest

Does this happen on previous drivers (even though they're old). Also try re-installing directx 9.0c [sp]and sheridanm. I know this is mean, but you're pretty damn annoying with your ratings[/sp]
