I currently have an Antec 900, and its been serving me fine, but its getting a bit cramped to me. I need something bigger like a full tower case. Would be good if it had decent cable management too.
My budget is about $150.
I guess I'll use the 900 i have now in a server build or something.
Any suggestions?
haf 932
I have a HAF932 and it works great (good looks and good cooling, though you'll have to clean out the dust once a week or twice a month). No it isn't loud even though a lot of people say so (though it is probably a bit loud if you are going to sleep in the same room with the PC on, but I don't do that so I have no idea how it is).

Yeah, forgot to say, I've looked at it, I really like the design, and it seems pretty fine for me, input on this from anyone else?

Just a question, in the regular edition, the red one, are there red leds on the side fan?
My Antec 900 is pretty loud-ish if you're gonna sleep in the same room, though if you lower the fan settings to low you can.

No.
Well I bought mine about 6 months ago and it only has a red LED on the front, so unless they have made some modifications to the design under these months, no. It would have been nice if there was one, that side panel window looks a bit sad without any light from the inside.

Also wait for some more responses, I know that the HAF works well and is good, but there might be better ones out there for that price.
Yeah, though the 932 seems the best CM offers, then again I'll wait for more responses.
Corsair obsidian 800d.
Bit pricey but sweet jesus is it awesome. Well designed all round and very stylish.
It should be duly noted however that it is a fucking behemoth.
It's absolutley massive, and when I picked it up from the post office the note said the package weighed 19.4kg. About 0.2 of that was cardboard and styrofoam I wager.
So it's not something I recommend for lan parties unless you intend on bringing a forklift.
Give it a look though, if you get it you wont be dissapointed.

I don't get what everyone sees in the HAF series, yea they are great for airflow, but i just think they are ugly im not trolling you or anything, i just don't see the attraction.
Personally id recommend a Antec 1200, as they have the highest airflow of almost any case.

too bad it's $150 over the OP's price range
I guess I'll look into the HAF 932 then

Just wondering, is the HAF 932 pretty easy to carry?

I think Haf cases are nice-looking
The HAF is pretty heavy and large, if your going to carry around your computer around a lot you should stick with a mid-tower case.
Now I talk about like, well maybe I go to a LAN twice a year or something, so I guess it doesn't matter that much?
I think you could manage, it's not that heavy.
K, thanks everyone, I think I actually go and get a 932
[editline]1:11[/editline]
I guess I'll use my old 900 for a server build or something.
So, I have a modular PSU now, for the server I'll probably get a non-modular one. I guess I'll put the non-modular PSU in the HAF, cause of its epic cable management? Seems like the 900 more "needs" a modular one. :P
[editline]04:53PM[/editline]
I think I'll actually get a better cooler than the stock cooler for the CPU too, when I'm purchasing this. I can afford the Corsair H50, should I go for it? Does it work with 932?

Well, that throws the Windtunnel out the window. :/

Yea, I figured, its like 140% the weight of the 900

Do not completely follow what is said in the description. You should look at the dimensions.
Because on both of these you only loose a inch or so in size.
I just got a 932. Well worth the money. It is so modifiable. I am in the processes of repainting mine white and black. Here is a thread I made of me completely disassembling the whole thing into a small pile of metal: [url]http://www.overclock.net/case-mods-general-discussion/661615-guide-how-completely-disassemble-case.html[/url]

Also, this guy does great reviews on products. Here is a really useful video on the Cooler Master 932:

Don't look and whether it's mid or full.
Look at the measurements. Mid towers get big.
