Can over clocking your computer make it explode/cause the cpu to shoot out? Will shooting a barrel filled with explosive liquid/gas make it sexplode? Does TV really rot your brain? Are you really bombarded with thousands of viruses on your computer? How many licks to the center of a Tootsie pop? Can cellphones cause cancer? Can you really catch a cold from being cold? Let's get this thread nice and big then post this on the Discovery forums. (User was banned for this post ("Wrong icon" - Gurant))
None of those are really good ideas, except the tootsie pop one. That might be a good mini-myth...one of those things they do just to get answers. Also, change your thread icon quick.

Tootsie pop depends on the size of the tongue. But I read somewhere that it was in the 200's (or 2000's, I could be forgetting a 0)

What happens when bananas are injected with oil?
I think they already did the shooting a barrel myth, along with an Oxygen tank. Hell, any welding teacher will tell you that most bullets won't penetrate the tank itself (Although you can shoot off the nozzle), unless it's like a 45 or 50 calibur, and that it won't explode, it'll shoot off somewhere....
Will shooting a barrel filled with explosive liquid/gas make it sexplode? Can you really catch a cold from being cold?
I would like to see these two.
Does cigarette smoke contain plutonium? I've heard this so often it makes me wonder.
Can you really catch a cold from being cold? Let's get this thread nice and big then post this on the Discovery forums.
That's really the only one that stuck out at me. The other ones either sound down right nerdy or just not entertaining enough.
Can you modify a few airbags into an ejection seat for your car?
Can drinking enough pure soy sauce make you go insane?
Cellphones don't cause cancer the waves are to large moveing on

The TV rotting brain one: I'm sure there's no VISIBLE effect on the brain, but you can't watch MTV (or really, most channels) for 5 minutes and tell me it isn't making humanity significantly dumber.

It did not explode with any gun the the myth-busters could use but with the help of a large machine-gun and incendiary bullets the army was able to achieve the effect. Edit: Almost forgot. Does adding whisky to the fuel of a diesel boat engine actually give an extra 50 RPM and does the extra RPM make any noticeable difference in speed? (question sourced from the movie down para-scope).

You put the lolipop in it and every lick it counts! SCIENCE!
you're a fucking retard
Really? Go fire a .357, then a .45. Then come back and tell me which is more powerful. Also, he was probably thinking of .44.
