In a "surprising" twist of fate Konami's greed is going to kill MGO. Paid maps almost always kill multiplayer.

I'm not playing through that tedious bullshit hospital tutorial again.
Imagine a world where you have to pay for maps after paying $60 for the base game itself.
Imagine a world where you have to pay for maps after paying $60 for the base game itself.
...you mean every AAA multiplayer released in the last 8 years?
It was bullshit then and it's bullshit now.

At least it's only $5. I expected it to be $15-$20 since it's Konami :v:
Gonna be devil's advocate here and say this is a pretty alright deal. It's 5 bucks for 3 maps and a new Unique Character, alongside a free gamemode, Survival mode returning (iirc), and a much needed balancing patch. However, I do understand why people want this to be free. Wasn't MGO2 fairly lacking in content at launch too?

There's five maps, an annoying lack of players and you can already get the "Quiet outfit" by attaching it to your male or female character. Quiet doesn't need to be apart of the MGO world, IMHO; and more maps should be added free of charge to add some damn variety.
