Well gee, edge to edge (just about) AMOLED in a thin glass sandwich. Colour me fucking surprised.
Is more relevant to test how it does in a generic phone-protecting case, no?

I've owned iPhones for the last six years, I am a clumsy fucker, and I've never broken a single screen. Only had a case on one of them, for the record. Then again, literally anything on the iPhone X can be considered a failure of design.
funnily enough despite literally being glass the S8 seems reasonably durable enough that you could use it without a case. You're also sure as fuck never going to bend it by hand. hopefully this changes and they make it unreasonably durable. I hate the idea of breaking my phone when I need it most.
