ASUS Vulcan Pro - Really Quiet Mic & Can hear my self when speaking.
2 replies, posted
I recently bought an ASUS Vulcan Pro headset, together with the ASUS ROG Xonar Phoebus.
The soundcard is pretty good, but the headset is having tons of issues. Such as..
I can hear my self when I'm talking. It's driving me crazy.
The microphone sound is extremly low, even with all microphone volumes set to max.
There's a loud background noise, even when the microphone is disabled. Im not sure what's causing it, but it's giving me a headache.
Was this a terrible purchase, or are my computer settings just messed up? Not sure wether I should've made the purchase after all..
Since there has not been a reply in 20 hours I will just assume I made a bad purchase and I will return the headset.
The microphone is really quiet, I can hear my self when Im talking. It's echoing.
Fucking garbage.
Yeah it's most likely the headset. Funnily enough there was a guy who came on tech support not too long back that wanted, yes, wanted his headset to echo his voice back into his ears. Crazy folk around here
