What do you think is better downtown ( Fremont ) where they have that long lcd screen street and rooms tend to cost less or the Strip where most of the new stuff is as well cost more.
I am kind of at a tie myself but I would go with Strip.
Fremont is a hell of a better social experience and the Strip is a better "bougie" experience. Fremont's got more things akin to bars, neat restaurants, local concerts, and sometimes relatively sane pricing. The hotels are closer to what people associate with Vegas, but at tourist prices.
Hotel experiences vary based on how much of a cheap-ass the hotel owners want to be. ("Hey, we don't have to wash the sheets every time!") With that said, don't go to the Flamingo. At the Gold Coast, there was also a ton of blood on one of the sheets when I visited for a trip to their pool! Aaaaaa.
As a result of having parents working at these resorts in the past, I know a lot about what they do for food (some of them just reheat frozen foods and call it gourmet), and bed bugs (quarantine the room, rip off the wallpaper and carpet, and fill it with steam).
I can talk to my dad and see if he's got recommendations. Just let me know where you want to be closer to.
well hygiene would be good
Dirty sheets are like my worst nightmare when it comes to hotels. I'm always afraid I will be sleeping in someone's cumshot gay orgy AIDs bed.
well hygiene would be good but when you say social do you mean more firendly.? as for the Strip are you saying more uptight.?
What I mean is it's more "local" and with restaurants and bars. The strip has some crazy cool stuff, too, but it's focus is on casinos and has a stronger emphasis on tourism.

as well as mine.
I made a post on Facebook and I'll let you know what everyone says.
well as well as The Golden Nugget I am also intrested in the West Game Las Vega's hotel.
The consensus is Red Rock, but my dad said Mandalay Bay as well just because it has a great Island vibe to it. Hotels here have crazy international themes to it, and a lot of them are resorts you can stay at all day long. Red Rock is close to neither Fremont Street or the strip though, but a lot of locals love it because of the music and the overall ROCKONDUDE experience.
My dad worked at Mandalay Bay though and visits there on a regular basis as a local for concerts and stuff. They have their own beach, their crazy shark aquarium, and some other stuff. Plus it's at the edge of the strip so you can start there and walk your way through the strip and back.
I feel like I'm making decisions worse ;D
I will say stay away from The Orleans because of bed bug problems (the horses that are there cause problems), The Flamingo for being downright cheap and full of old people.
My dad also says Aria, Vdara, and the Cosmopolitan are also really popular atm.
So yeah, Mandalay Bay sounds like a good idea if you wanna stay on the strip.
I really don't know of any hotels by Fremont Street. If I'm ever there it's for fun and I'm never staying over night or anything. I think the last time I went was to go to Container Park where the entire architecture and decoration is made of recycled cargo containers, including a giant praying mantis that shoots fire.
okay now I got an idea where to stay now what should I go to see.( in terms of show's.)
