Just curious to know if there's a way to find out what kind and how many likes/dislikes people have on their posts? Maybe some kind of average to tell if the poster is legitimate, or if they're just out to troll?
I see a lot of "dumb" and "helpful" ratings thrown about on individual posts, but in profiles it doesn't appear to be linked. Am I blind or is there no tracking system? And if not, I'd like to recommend one, if any moderators view this board. Anyway, would be nice to know.
There's no formal tally, but there's a script for FF and chrome made by one of the old mods (I think Overv?) hanging out somewhere.
Either way, ratings are mostly meaningless, other than the glorious gaybow.
I have been active on other forums, which did have a reputation system.
Sadly I cannot remember the URL of that - no wait, just came back to me: www.edugeek.net
Here they have a reputation system. It would be nice if the Facepunch administrators
would apply a reputation system.
There used to be a smartness system, which "encouraged" people to type correctly. There was also a thing that showed an icon next to a persons name, based on how many ratings they had.

We really need that back to keep in line the massive horde of dumbasses seeking for Rust keys.
Last I checked Overv's script stopped working when he was banned. I would appreciate another one though. It was useful.
