I don't own this game (but I'd like to) but I'm perfectly okay with DLC like this. £1.50 to give the devs a little more support is very reasonable indeed
Looks pretty cool. I hope it doesn't deteriorate the distinction between dinosaurs.
Looks pretty cool. I hope it doesn't deteriorate the distinction between dinosaurs.
It's kind of hard to confuse the silhouette of a T-Rex with that of a raptor, no matter the skin :v:
I thought it would be 4.99, god damn is 1.99 a good price point for skins! Helps that they look pretty awesome in-game too. The Rex is amazing, they should have called it the Jurassic Park pack(but they didn't/can't, but oh well).
Jurassic Park DLC would be amazing if they added in more skins and maps styled from the movies
This game is terrible however and you shouldn't be giving them your money.

For some reason I thought this would've been railworks DLC
For some reason I thought this would've been railworks DLC
Or Saints row 3
Or Saints row 3
Someone make an open world Dinosaur game. NOW.
Little harsh there, sure it's got problems but least it ain't Orion terrible or ET atari
Just because there's worse games out there doesn't mean this is any less terrible. There's issues leaking out the seams of this game and instead of working on a patch they decide to get paid DLC out there instead.
Expected Battlefield 3. Got Primal Carnage.
Little harsh there, sure it's got problems but least it ain't Orion terrible or ET atari
Not really, it's a pretty awful game. I've been involved since it was in its alpha stage and its pretty much the same as it was back then, but with just better looking visuals. [editline]1st December 2012[/editline] They should have pushed back releasing it to fix it up and maybe it wouldn't have been such a disappointment.
To me it seems like they weren't even developing it until the Alpha, really. 2 whole years of ~concept art~ and a neat animation for nothing. Spinosaurus, Compsognathus, Sarcosuchus, Pathfinder's Dog, More-Than-1-Fucking-Gamemode, etc.
They left out so much stuff. They were being way too ambitious and failed to deliver anything.
They left out so much stuff. They were being way too ambitious and failed to deliver anything.
All they delivered was a disappointing sack of crap. It's a really awful game, and I fear for what Carnivores' fate might be if someone dusts it off.
As someone who didn't follow this game's development as closely as some other people here, I am not disappointed by this game in any way. As far as dinosaur games go, it's one of the best in my opinion. I mean, I have fun whenever I'm in a match, I haven't encountered many glitches, and the ones I do see are not game-breakingly terrible. All in all, it's a good game and I believe it was worth the money I paid.
What are you people talking about, I enjoyed the game quite a lot. It's not crap.
Someone make an open world Dinosaur game. NOW.
There is one. It's sorta old though...
Someone make an open world Dinosaur game. NOW.
Go find a copy of Carnivores
