oh man, that'd be sweet a tale of two wastelands for GTA
oh man, that'd be sweet a tale of two wastelands for GTA
fyi there is a mod for san andreas that adds vice city, liberty city and other cities from R* games like Bullworth alongside San Andreas. They are also adding new radio stations, new weapons, new sounds, peds, cars everything alongside SA. You can play it but it's heavily in the works. When it's done it will be the most ambitious mod ever for a GTA game. With the limited modding capabilities of GTA IV and GTA V this mod will either never come out or be an unfinished boring mess.
I liked reading about the engine that San Andreas is running on and how the only reason why they didn't add more shit was due to the technology running the game, like now however, as Adarrek said, the mod that adds the other cities to the same map shows how the engine can actually handle even more stuff added to it and still have everything else run fine, like there is a point where it will shit itself when the hardware you have is good enough to handle whatever you throw in the game, but I don't believe we'll see that in the mod for San Andreas. Not unless they added interiors to EVERY building on every island, but maybe even then it might be fine.
This is cool, but these always seem useless because like San Andreas's map, it has no peds or AI nodes.
