The game looks very nice. All of the little details really add a nice touch to the game.
But why do the lights always seem so washed out? Are they scared about getting shading right or does everyone else really have faded out vision?
Reshade/sweetfx always seems to fix this issue very well.
Hated it for the pure fact its a walking simulator

tbh that is a silly reason to hate a game. there's far more than enough room in gaming for such things to exist

Yup and from the looks of it they got the momentium system down pretty good. Its a nice looking game with very fine details that add to it. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it, but hey its a pretty interactive screensaver.
Throwing my 2 cents in, the game is a technical mess. It doesn't look good enough to justify the performance issues I'm having (and my rig's no slouch either), it runs as badly as the Kingdom Come Deliverance alpha while having no AI and less world detail. On top of that LOD is handled poorly, pop-in occurs barely 5 metres away from the character on the highest object detail setting and doesn't seem to be working properly despite the performance drop. Also autosave, the only way to save, isn't reliable. Lost half an hour of progress when the game crashed.
Narrative-wise, I've only played about 90 minutes but it doesn't seem particularly interesting? Nothing other than finding out what caused the apocalypse is really drawing me further into the game and that's pretty bad.
Just get The Vanishing of Ethan Carter instead if you haven't already got it, literally better in every single way.
Just finished the game, and I liked it. Like most walking simulators, it has issues with pacing (all the more since it's fairly long for a walking simulator), but it's got amazing visuals and music, and if you can immerse yourself enough, the dialogues/characters are also pretty good.
Of course, if the idea of an "open-world walking simulator" sounds like a joke to you, don't even try it.
Also had no issues like in the post above.
