i've been waiting for this feature since i had my tablet that only relied on Wi-Fi now i guess its kinda useless once i got a phone with a stable connection and a monthly 4GB data plan
Great, I just came back from a trip to the Netherlands where I had my wallet raped by my phone service provider due to roaming charges. I presume this does a similar thing to the existing "offline maps" option?
So is it precaching everything near you or does it just cache the last few things you search?

they had this feature hidden in the app years ago and then they removed it for some reason, now it's back
