They should have been going after this instead of open IV instead
legal threats to direct online hacking tools, fuck yeah I agree with
Honestly it was the only thing around that makes the game fun and not fucking annoying, I mean I've got what I want and can actually fuck around and enjoy myself instead of having to spend absurd amounts of time grinding the fucking shit out of everything to get a single thing.

Make it a bothersome grind is their intention, since they sell those shark cards.
Odds are this accomplishes nothing. I am not really aware of the whole GTA:O hack thing, but there is bound to be others. And odds are they'll make some changes and re-release this under a different name. Because unless they happen to be literal children shut downs don't seem to keep hacks dead forever.

Gotta love paying full price to grind like hell to motivate microtransactions instead of having fun varied gameplay.
Hacking in gta is actually a somewhat good thing in a way because many hackers are secretly generous saints fixing the games biggest issue

I don't know if it's still the same way, but for other players it was kinda the opposite. Griefing hackers would kill the entire server constantly, fuck up every gamemode, and at once point, could frame you for hacking and get you banned from the game. It was impossible to play public, it was basically friends-only for a few months at a time til I gave up.
The expense of everyone else's fun, vs not having to grind for shitty golden yachts, isn't really a fair tradeoff imo.
Besides, I welcome this if it means Take2 will stop coming after SP modders.

I remember that
entire servers of people being killed under a completely random persons name
but people are just too dumb to figure out that it wasn't that person
Menyoo, another paid MP trainer, was also taken down today.
I would honestly be sadder if it wasn't for the dumb fucking griefing options.
Wait, why are they only going after these mods now? RDR2 is coming out (relatively) soon and iirc GTAO's playercount has been going down. Do they need to enforce shark cards to break even now? It seems like the time for this was 2 years ago.

There are hacking tools in other games, and then there are hacking tools in GTA V.
These ones can do bad things sure but in my experience people use them to get money (which takes forever otherwise)
Well, it's a good start. T2 still have a lot of work to also take down other known paid menus, such as Jordans, N-word and d3sk1ng.
Guess it also explains the C&D of OpenIV but it still makes no sense because OpenIV doesn't let you do anything with online portion of GTA V.

Money, that is the reason. You can buy money with real money.

cheating in GTA games is the best way to have fun in them, I have a friend who uses his cheats to make GTAO not a horrible grind. He gave me 6 billion , then we spent our time spawning in all sorts vehicles and flying them around with a sparkly trail, changing player models to things you can't normally access and just having fun without having to worry about weather you had the levels or money to keep up.
it's just fun to fuck around in open world games, take 2 putting up all these barriers makes the game a boring slog.
GTAO is the first and only multiplayer game I've ever cheated in. And all I did was give myself and others money. I don't feel a single bit of regret or remorse because I felt it was entirely justified given the bullshit grind. :v:
If T2 had gone after the hacks two years ago I'd maybe still be playing GTAO, but as it was, I looked at a game where I can't play in public servers without randomly being masskilled or possibly banned by hackers and I realized the best option was to uninstall and reclaim my 65GB of drive space. Too little, too late, T2.
