I'm glad developments are made to suit the ageing western population. It's doubtful that we'll start having more children so we really need inventions like this.

As long as actual care workers will still be around care homes then this is good. It's shocking how many people are pathetic enough to throw their elderly relatives into a care home and leave them to live out their remaining days without so much as a visit unless it benefits the visitor. I've visited a fair few care homes in the past and it's amazing how many great stories they can tell you about their lives and the history of where they've lived/been.
does it come with a blank staring murderously grinning pseudo-human faceplate manufactured in Uncanny Valley?
Way to tell granny she isn't worth actual human time anymore and should just fuckin die already.
