I don't know weather this should be in PC building but this still goes in either forum.
I bought an MSI 760GM-P25 (FX) Motherboard and I was wondering if I can get a Graphics card above a GeForce 520 GT, so far this is the Maximum that I have seen in DDR3 graphics cards but since I have PCI-E 2.0 I was wondering if the DDR3 doesn't matter and that I can upgrade to any PCI-Express Graphics card.
Please help.
-Solved-
Getting an Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti although I only need a 520 GT, the 560 Ti is only $128 from where I get my parts from.
Thanks, I should know better but eh.
Well lesson learned for me.

Your motherboard uses DDR3
Graphics card use their own RAM (though they can share your motherboards ram), called GDDR.
Your motherboard doesnt care if this is GDDR1,2,3,4,5 or 9999.
It is compleetly unrelated to the motherboards specs.
Also where the hell are you getting a 560 Ti for 128$? I havnt seen them for under 200$ yet.
Make sure youa rrent getting scammed.
It's a place in New Zealand, Upper Hutt called Fergus computers.
I actually got Laptop ram from there which works perfectly.
Eh, I find things on Pricespy all the time.
