Good for them. :) Tomb Raider was a really good game.
Awesome to hear - hope this'll mean more Tomb Raiders of that calibre.

It was a different game with the same title. All it was, was action. Horrifically dumb puzzles, QTE's up the ass. The places that you 'adventured'(because that is what Lara does), were pitiful. They didn't look amazing, or eye catching. Hell, I don't even remember half the game. That's how 'meh' it was. I don't think that it deserves to flunk, but I don't think they should have made a bountiful profit, walking in the shoes of the Tomb Raider name.
Good, I really enjoyed Tomb Raider. I'd totally play a sequel. Cool! I had fun with Tomb Raider, hopefully the sequel actually has tombs to raid now the origin's out of the way.

I'm glad that they were profitable but boy did they have to really milk it.
I really hope the next game has more of a focus on puzzles and platforming. Those were always my favorite parts of the older TR games. Some of the "tomb" sections where you could search for upgrades were actually pretty fun, if a bit simple. If they can combine that with the modern action stuff I think it'd be a winner.
Am I the only one that didn't like this game? It reminded me way to much of uncharted instead of actual tomb raider.
This is nice to hear, but I also remember S-E bitching about how 3 million units sold wasn't enough. I wonder what it's at now since it "exceeded" expectations.
