It has only happened once, and the above picture is only a small bit of what it looked like. At one point, everything was purple except for the control point and the players. Any idea as to why this is happening?
I'm not quite sure, but I'm sure its nothing to worry about. Perhaps you're not the only one getting it, maybe its just a bug in the game.
Specs?

Here's another photo:

maybe valve are screwing with you
I AM NOT USING WINDOWS XP! I just had to put the compatibility to XP because it kept crashing on Windows 7 settings.
maybe valve are screwing with you
This isn't helpful
Also, I do have all of my drivers updated.
This is only on TF2 right?
Jesus, that CPU temp is pretty hot. (in my opinion) :|
Jesus, that CPU temp is pretty hot. (in my opinion) :|
60 degrees Celsius is fairly common for idling CPUs. A hot CPU is usually between 80 to 110 degrees, if I recall correctly.
This is only on TF2 right?
So far, yes. The only other game I have played recently during this weird material error is Worms 4: Mayhem.

I don't mean to be a bother, but this temperature talk isn't helping me :(
