Thought this was a bit odd to be posted via the BBC, but then realized it's a section that deals with trending stuff. May seem a bit silly but nice idea and I'm glad lots of people have joined in!
Oh, I saw this earlier on Twitter but I didn't get it.

To be honest, these things were funny a couple of weeks ago. Now they're just tiring and make all those making fun of it look worse.

Actually, we will probably never stop making fun of extremists, but I still want them out of social justice.

[editline]20th November 2014[/editline] I think it was an important message that got lost over the internet equivalent of a bitch-slapping contest.
Barbie doesn't actually do any computer engineering herself in the book, but instead relies on two male friends to do it for her. "I'm only creating the design ideas," Barbie says in the book, as she explains to her sister that she's working on a computer game. "I'll need Steven and Brian's help to turn it into a real game!" And by the end of the book, Steven and Brian fix Barbie's laptop for her.

We believe girls should be empowered to understand that anything is possible and believe they live in a world without limits.
Obviously, the author nor the feminists know what the hell they are talking about. They don't see the big picture. In the original book we see an ambitious young Barbie who knows how to manipulate others to work for her. That is a future leader, a boss right there with a great career in front of her. But no, these feminists are basically saying she should instead be stuck in front of a computer whole day, work late hours for a lower salary, etc.
