My computer has just been flooded wqith messages by Vista's virus program "Vista security centre 2019", after scanning my computer it found multiple trojan viruses and others. I couldn't take any screenshot as i was panicing and was in the procces of running Spybot search and destory which found one problem. It was something to do with an editied windows file what could have been changed by one of these trojans. The only thing is that the program claimed that these viruses where in Boarderlands (have not been online with it), recycling bin (its empty) and also rome total war (which has now been deleted for about 3 monthes) One last thing after deleting the problem that Search and Destroy found and rebooting to escape the flood of warnings im am getting no warning messages or anything. Any help or ideas would be really helpful. P.S i will not reply staright away as im going out, but will check back when i get in.
If i understand correctly, you're not getting any warning messages anymore? What do you want us to help you with? Also, you have/had something called Adware
Get Malwarebytes and Microsoft Security Essentials. Run them. You might even want to try SUPERAntiSpyware. Spybot alone cannot protect you from the terrors on the internet.
Why are you people obsessed with running a lot of anti-virus software as soon as your computer starts to cough? Its the typical (American) way of dealing with health issues, just take medicine and it will cure the problem. Sorry, had to mention it. Don't just install a lot of anti-virus software, they only tend to make things worse. Look for yourself, check your process list, look in the registry, remove the lines in the keys that loop/restart the problem. Manually do a search on your pc for odd software/files. As long as you know what should be on your computer and what shouldn't you should be able to remove the infection without a problem.

Vista security centre 2019 Is a fake antivirus called "Scareware" It makes you believe you have problems while there are none. The only problem is Vista security centre 2019. You should really learn NOT to click flashy ads on sites. Actually you should never EVER klick a banner on ANY site.
Except those who says you won $1 000 000. They're legit.
yeah man, I won this free xbox once put I crossed it out by accident Usually if the virus gives its self a name, Google it, and you'll get a shitload of results, if not, google, 'task manager fix' and download the program, open up take manager, find an unusual process, (most likely the one that the virus is running on) it might be *random numbers*.exe, end the process, search/delete it in the registry, Yes, as shocking as it seems, deleting shortcuts wont work [and you cant go to' add/remove programs' -_-] use regedit and youir done, it might make some .dll files in places like the Program files folder, delete those. One virus I had was pretty nasty, blocked EVERYTHING, but turns out, if I constantly clicked on the .exe I wanted to run, the virus didn't catch up and one click was successful. Worse comes to worse, put ubuntu or something on an external hard drive, boot from that, and look at the windows files of the original hard drive for any problems/unusal files, even if a file like svhost.exe or watever LOOKS fine, make sure its not a fraud
Use Google Chrome, it's got sandboxing which makes attacks like these (Drive-by downloads) impossible, or near enough.
