This author has a stick up his ass so far that I thought he was John Walker
To be honest, FPS works best on PC because you have mouse-aim instead of bollocking about with an analog stick to aim, which doesn't allow for precise twitch aiming as much as a good mouse.
Sure you have analog character movement, which is usually better than digital movement since you have more control, but in general PC just has more buttons and better camera control.
that's pretty big, though they're probably not actually entirely different assets, just the original ones they were working with before they scaled them for the various platform releases
Activision, are you....are you trying to win customers right now??

Hey it's better than them just releasing the low quality ones for everyone
welcome to the next gen friends
Best on PC yet no mod support? Fuck off.

Console players say the same thing about gamepads. It's really down to preference unless it's gamepad vs mouse in the same match. FPS works best on whatever you like playing on.

CS:GO is a good example as to why FPS's are better on the PC

lol you aren't seriously trying to bring this debate up are you
I laugh a lot when people make controllers out to be this clunky mess that is somehow incredibly hard to aim with. Then again, I played Halo 2 from release to it's death semi-competitively, so i'm a bit biased I guess. They're both easy enough to use as long as you don't have Parkinson's disease or something.

controllers are a clunky mess and are incredibly hard to aim with in comparison to a mouse

every cod game bar mw2 on pc has them
I have always had a feeling that the CoD dev's standards are "slightly" below average,
i mean there are some CoD videos/trailers in which the devs appear and talk so proudly about things they did and or added (sometimes they call "different"), that are actually quite standard things in video games in general.
Well certainly their "new additions" can be called "different" compared to the other or older CoD games, but watching them brag about simple and small things as it was a completely "new" idea, is just a bit funny to me, atleast.
Edit: fish Ai, mocap dogs, a new weapon in a dlc for the first time, vertical element in a map

infinity ward's games have some of the highest production value out there
if you want my heart bring back mod support
infinity ward's games have some of the highest production value out there
Quality control wise? Yeah probably, they're quite tight, the games rarely have game breaking bugs, things don't tend to freak the fuck out when players try and break it. But that's because they never change anything enough to actually break it, the shooting mechanics, the physics aspects, the networking, these have all stayed basically the same since the start, without changing them in a big way you can't really break them.
Content wise? Not really.
Best on PC yet no mod support? Fuck off.
Of course there's mods, there's atleast 100 hacks the first day it gets released.
Best on PC yet no mod support? Fuck off.
Yeah, it's much better on the consoles, where you have complete mod support!
Best on PC yet no mod support? Fuck off.
Like, half of your posts are about asking for mod support.
You know that some of the best games of this generation don't have mod support, right?

I'd like to have an analog stick on my keyboard or something actually, when sniping the lack of smoothness to track moving targets with the mouse always annoy me a little.

Entirely your opinion.
For instance, the majority opinion of Mass Effect 2 is that it's a fantastic game. I think Mass Effect 2 is fucking horrid.

Every opinion is subjective, so there's no such thing as a "good game" or "bad game."
What's your point?

He's saying the 'best games of this generation' in your opinion might not be the same as what he thinks are the best games of the generation.
No, I have next to no interest in Call of Honor: Black Battlefield 17 or whatever it’s called, and no amount of extra dogs or women or spangly graphics would change my mind
PC-centric forums have a hard time understanding. Though when you don't have much controller experience it'd be tough to imagine it working.
Do you still play Halo or have you switched to CoD?

that plus if you have a mouse like me you have a DPI shift button that lets you slow down your mouse for much finer aiming

Games I talk about mod support in that "50% of all my posts" are games that have had mod support in the past and been extremely succesful. Nice try there furry man.
