My card is a 9600 gso.
Both monitors are connected Monitor>Vga cable>VGA-DVI converter>card.
The drivers I am using do not have a dualveiw option as I remember in older drivers.
How do I enable this feature?
(For clarification, Dualveiw is where you have two or more monitors set up, and you can game on one and say... Watch a movie on the other.)
Got this option in the Nvidia control panel?

Bump
Goddamn it, tweak ClearType. That picture hurts my fucking brain.
Excuse me but why does this even matter? You can game on one monitor and watch a movie on the other without DualView.
Make sure the screen is turned on

I want to control the resolution and background of the second screen independently of the first.
Because when I turn a game on it turns the unused monitor off.
And I want to have separate desktop backgrounds.
Does it go black when your in-game?
By the way I have the same Dell and I have it dual aswell. But mine doesn't go black.Anyways, download displayfusion here for different wallpapers on each monitor.

Well I just realized it doesn't turn black, But it does change the resolution of both screens to what the game in screen 1 is set to.

You already can change the resolution of the second, if you want to control the background get DisplayFusion.

Display fusion works, But like I said, The resolution of screen 2 changes to the same resolution screen 1 changes to when a game is initiated.

You can't change that.

And why does it matter? You shouldn't be dualing if you can't run the game on monitor 1 at full resolution.

If what I understand, monitor 1 has a higher resolution than 2.
No.
same res.
I play maxed res which for me is 1280x1024 on both.
But I would like the opportunity to be able to control them independently, like in previous versions of drivers nvidia has released.
Right click desktop, Properties > Settings.
Should get 2 monitors showing 1 + 2. Click each to change the resolution, you can drag them around aswell.
I just got sick looking at that image with the fucked up cleartype. I'mma lie down.

Oh that works.
Thanks
I don't know if it's the same, but I have my massive old TV hooked up to my PC through the S-video port on my card, and I just changed the resolution through the usual Screen Resolution screen.
