Raid mode confirmed? I still have my doubts about this game, but its shaping up to be better than I expected.
The only issue I have with Revelations 2 so far from the few gameplay videos is that it seems to use RE6's style of movement. My reasoning for why that's bad is because the diving, rolling, and sprinting at will seems a bit too suited for RE6's more action-paced gameplay with Chris, and Jake. But for a deeper horror experience, it almost seems too loose for its own good. That's not to insult the features with that style of movement, as it was fantastic during a round of Mercenaries, I just don't want Revelations 2 to have the ludicrous maneuvers of quickshots, and insane counters for virtually every attack. I'm not asking for ten-ton tank controls, but I certainly hope there have been a few adjustments to better suit the theme of the game.
The whole episode/full retail release thing is pretty dumb in my opinion. I'll only ever buy the physical retail copy of a game, so having to wait months after the digital distribution of the episodes are over is going to hurt my hype a lot, especially since I'll know a lot of people are already getting to play it and spoiling it all over the internet. I'm sure the game itself will be great though, Revelations was underrated gem that mixed current Resident Evil with the old formula.
Still crying over no 3ds
