the thing is though, unless you jailbreak your iOS device and make the long hold on the home button go to this specific app i dont see much point in it, people will probably still use siri

Why wouldn't it? It just uses data from Google Maps/Location Services which already has more or less a worldwide location database

yeah but the transport information is so bullshit it only works in America and the UK, it'd be helpful if they were able to do it in Australia
