So for some reason, my 9800GTX+ died (it was refurbished, but I did expect a longer life out of it) and since I recently got a tax rebate, I can afford to get a newer card. I've been looking at nVidia's GTX series, perhaps a 460. I was also recommended the ATI 5770. I'm leaning more towards the 5770. I have no brand preference, so feel free to post cards from either.
460 is an amazing card, especially since it's so brilliantly scalable in SLI.
Gtx 460
This is the cheapest 460: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-238-AS Although it's on special offer so if you don't move quickly enough you'll have to get this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-000-PL
I'd save a little more at get the GTX 460, although, I'll recommend the 1GB version.

Have you ever bought anything from overclockers? I've bought several items from them over the last year or so and have had no problems even when I had to return a fan which was DOA
Coincidentally, Overclockers sent me the refurbished card. We're sending it back, and they're gonna test it, then replace it.
