• CPU Centigrade -2.0/ -1.0

After putting my computer to sleep mode before going out for dinner, I arrive home to my open restarting perfectly fine. Then ASUS AI Suite (or whatever it is called) pops up with "CPU Centigrade -2.0" and then shortly after "CPU Centigrade -1.0". Is this a major problem? It is quite cold tonight, it's going to be around 3 or 4 degrees Celsius. My computer is in my room and my room is rather chilly. MOBO temp sensor might be fucked. Anything bad shouldn't happen also where the fuck do you live for 4C outside?
I did a little trolling around the internet and found several post were people have had these kinds of problems. Make sure that you do not have any other software install that monitors the temps as it can cause false readings. Your CPU temp of 30C is right on par. Also, I would double check your BIOS and make sure that you are running the latest version for that motherboard and that ASUS AI suite is on the latest version.
MOBO temp sensor might be fucked. Anything bad shouldn't happen also where the fuck do you live for 4C outside?
Winter in Australia at night time goes down to 4C.
It'll be fine. CPUs survive liquid nitrogen so 4C is fine.
Don't worry about it. Worst case is the sensor is broken, as mentioned above Just keep an eye on it and see what temperature it reports under load
The sensor has to be bloody broken, even if your room is 4C, the CPU is going to be idling at around 20-30C even without any load.
Yeah. Thanks guys. I haven't had any warnings since the time when I posted this thread.
