So like, Gyazo but less popular?
It's like puush but lets you choose other places to upload ur images to
It also has a lot of features like screen recording (gif or video) and a colorpicker
I don't understand, why would they want this on Steam? I mean I love the program but it seems kind of odd.
I voted for it. Great screenshot program. I like to have it running all the time though - Wouldn't this mean having a In-Game status all the time or can apps disable this?

Not having it run automatically when Windows starts and having the ingame notification actually kills the point of having it on steam. Who knows, maybe it'll lead to a change of how Steam handles software instead of games
So like, Gyazo but less popular?
Better. Much much better. [editline]2nd August 2015[/editline]
I don't understand, why would they want this on Steam?
So like, Gyazo but less popular?
Like gyazo except it's like a swiss army knife for sharing information and other things. And it's open source.
The song for that demonstration video was generic as fuck, did they seriously have to go with that kinda shit.
The song for that demonstration video was generic as fuck, did they seriously have to go with that kinda shit.
'Generic as fuck' usually means that it has a free licence.
The song for that demonstration video was generic as fuck, did they seriously have to go with that kinda shit.
Finding free music very difficult can you suggest something better so I can use that when we release it in Steam? [editline]4th August 2015[/editline]
I don't understand, why would they want this on Steam? I mean I love the program but it seems kind of odd.
Because nobody knows existence of ShareX (this is why people still using Gyazo) and Steam will be good for publicity. How 17 people agree to this I don't understand. Am I don't have right to want more people to use my software? [editline]4th August 2015[/editline]
I voted for it. Why would I release ShareX on Steam if it were showing "In app" all the time.
The song for that demonstration video was generic as fuck, did they seriously have to go with that kinda shit.
Apparently I'm to blame for that. It's not bad I mean it could of been a lot worse...
I'll give you a vote if you make square preview zoom an option [sp]jk i already voted but please[/sp] [editline]4th August 2015[/editline] ps hello jaex [editline]4th August 2015[/editline] There's lots of programs and software on steam. It's not that weird at all? I own DisplayFusion through steam and it works exactly the same as it would if I had downloaded it from the displayfusion website.
Actually magnifier was square for long time but having circle magnifier was more advantageous. Because with square magnifier you can't see much in right bottom side of cursor but with circle you have more space to see around cursor and this makes capturing more easier. So I didn't even considered making it optional because I didn't saw reason. I mean if you want to see more area in your magnifier I already added two different magnifier sizing hotkeys.
It's amazing It can take pictures of itself taking a picture of itself
Would you buy this software if it were available in Steam?
Valve really should update greenlight to support free software. I'm sure a lot of people will vote no because of this poor wording.
Voted in support of threadstarter, never say no when asked for GL vote, one day it be your turn. ;)

Been using it since it was hosted on Google Code way back when and love it. It took a long time to find though back then, my requirements were very specific. Something which can support uploading via SFTP with an OpenSSH private key instead of a password. This seems to be literally the only thing that does that and since then it has just got more and more features and I've had no issues.
I think steam should make the option to disable the launch-through-steam thing for certain applications, with this they can allow applications like these to be distributed in a user friendly way. (AKA Steam is just the distribution platform) That way more people have access to software like this, valve gets publicity, the developers get publicity, everyone wins.

There are a number of games that can be run straight from the executable

My only complaint with ShareX is that Version 10.1 broke proportional resizing in region capture. Otherwise it's pretty much perfect.
yeah, using it with my sftp + server is a godsend, being able to share a screencap in just a few seconds pretty much perfect
Because nobody knows existence of ShareX (this is why people still using Gyazo) and Steam will be good for publicity. How 17 people agree to this I don't understand. Am I don't have right to want more people to use my software?
Don't get so offended. All I meant was that I didn't see any 'Steam specific' features so I was curious as to why ShareX was going on Steam when it was normally downloaded from their website like other programs. If it's for publicity that's fine I guess but I'll probably still use the normal version.

Huh, apparently I'm still on 8.4.0. Gotta get that update.
Huh, apparently I'm still on 8.4.0. Gotta get that update.
So you telling me that you not even format your Windows for last 3 years?
So you telling me that you not even format your Windows for last 3 years?
If it works there's no need to fix. If once on steam will it have achievements?
If once on steam will it have achievements?

Jaex: about achievements Jaex: im achievement addict Jaex: but each achievement will require its own icon Jaex: and i cant make that much icons with my limited graphic skills :7
Im sure some people can help with art if you want. Are achievements for programs realy a thing on steam? As thats hilariously bad and I need it for ShareX.
